Abstract:
A method for preparing basic bismuth gallate from gallic acid and industrial bismuth nitrate using a modified polyacrylamide-co-styrene-co-acrylic acid copolymer as an adsorption material, removal of heavy metals from industrial bismuth nitrate raw materials by adsorption; the modified copolymer is prepared by modifying a polyacrylamide-co-styrene-co-acrylic acid copolymer raw material with formaldehyde and dimethylamine and optionally a C2-C4 organic amine containing a mercapto group, hydroxymethyl (-CH2-OH) and aminomethyl (-CH2-N(CH3)2) were introduced into the side chain of the copolymer, and optionally with or without the introduction of mercapto (-SH) or Thio (-S-) groups on the side chains of the copolymer. The modified copolymer has an outstanding ability to adsorb heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic.

Abstract:
with gallic acid , bismuth nitrate and zirconium nitrate as raw materials, a bimetallic organic salt-bismuth-zirconium gallate was synthesized for the first time, it was characterized by organic elemental analysis, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Under the condition of temperature programming, thermogravimetry (TG) analysis, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), solid phase in situ reaction cell/FTIR, the thermal behavior and thermal decomposition mechanism of bismuth zirconium gallate were studied. The thermal decomposition process of bismuth zirconium gallate was described, and the final decomposition products were Bi2O3,ZrO2 and C. The propellant samples containing bismuth-zirconium gallate were prepared by spiral pressing process. The effect of bismuth-zirconium gallate on the combustion performance of double base (DB) propellant was studied, and its combustion catalysis was analyzed. The results show that bismuth-zirconium gallate has a good catalytic effect on the combustion of double-base propellant, and it is an efficient combustion catalyst. The final product of thermal decomposition of bismuth-zirconium gallate is the main material of catalytic combustion, zirconium and carbon play the role of auxiliary catalysis.
